Firing your entire Supercharger division in a fit of pique vs a 6% reduction in workforce due to a downturn in the EV market - I wouldn't call them equally sound business decisions.

Those two decisions are not equivalent. 6% layoffs suck, but it isn’t across the board, blanket, or cutting entire teams wholesale without warning and leaving customers and partners left on hold.
