Like me, a number of forum members have a boatload of referral points and no place to spend them. I am OK with waiting for some better spending opportunities, but am concerned about points expiration. Perhaps @marqie would be so kind as to research this, and confirm if Lucid ever has, or intends, to enforce any points expiration provisions. I would hate to wake up someday only to find that my points have disappeared.

If points expiration is a plan or possibility, I hope that Lucid would take a cue from the many other points issuing organizations who notify their users with advance (I.e. 90 day) notice of expiring points.

If anyone else has any direct knowledge or experience in this regard, please weigh in.

Thanks!

As stated in the Lucid Referral Program Terms & Conditions, referral points expire two years after they are issued. You should be able to see the issue date for the points in the portal. We do not currently notify owners of impending expirations of their points.

Thanks @marqie. Is it possible to add items like ccv2 upgrade and wheels. Currently, we’ve everything that’s on rewards store. Additional items works help us utilize the points

Thanks for clarifying, @marqie. Your answer leads to two more questions for you...

First off, when I look in the portal or the app, I can't find a place where I can see 'when' the points were granted. I can see the first name of the buyer, the status (delivered) and the number of points granted for each transaction. Would you please point me to where I can see the date the points were granted?

Secondly, I get that the available referral products are of a value that's consistent with the new reduced points award program, but what about those of us who have the clock ticking on a whole lot of validly-earned points? What are we to do with them without big point avenues such as tires/wheels, the CCUv2, Special Events, and the like? Surely, Lucid doesn't want us breaking the rules buying things for resale. Are we not being told to get out, but given no place to go? Seems to me that the right thing for Lucid to do is to either give us more time to use the points, or viable places to spend them. Actually, both.

Thanks for hearing me out.

Apologies. I misspoke. The issue dates are not available through the portal or app. I understand your concerns regarding point accumulation. I have relayed this to the team.

There are not plans to offer CCCv2 update or wheels at this time. I will be sure to let you and the owners on the forum know if this changes.

I'm in the same boat. There is no transparency on when my points were earned or will expired. I was hoping to use them for a factory tour with family, but that hasn't been offered since last summer.

Now I'm stuck with points that could expire any moment with nowhere to spend them unless I wanted to resell the store items, which I don't.

Not to mention Lucid was supposed to give me $500 in store credit when I first got the car. Despite my follow-ups, the credit was never applied due to internal turnover and a lack of responsiveness, and misinformation from the team.
