2022 Lucid Air GT
I have followed Jonny Lieberman's reviews for years and find them to be quite helpful. His July 18, 2022 review is especially interesting to me because of his insights on the suspension changes from the Dream Editions to the Air Grand Touring but also his enthusiasm for the AGT's dynamic capabilities. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/...erformance-electric-sedan-first-drive-review/

It gives me pause on my choice of the 19" wheels and the stopping distance that they noted. Given that my silver AGT will not be delivered until Q4, I may just change to the 20" wheels that may delay delivery until next year.

I expect most of the stopping distance difference is due to the all-season tires on the 19" wheels, not so much the 19" wheels themselves. You could always swap a set of something from the Pilot Sport series onto the 19's, at about a 10-15% range hit.

For what its worth there is a good chance the new "Climate/Inflation Bill" will pass this year and be effective 1/1/23. Assuming that happens if you switch to the 20" wheels and delay your delivery beyond year end 2022 you will lose the $7500 tax credit. You could keep your order as it is and take delivery this year and then buy the 20" wheels separately for less than the tax credit and sell your 19" wheels. Just a thought.

Thank you. I think that I will stay with the 19" wheels and change to 19" Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires for warmer weather and hopefully a shorter stopping distance. I trust that my March 29, 2022, confirmed ordered AGT will be delivered this year and that the $7500 federal tax credit will be allowed.

Has anyone driven both the DE and new AGT and has a sense of what difference the front end suspension change feels like in real life for an everyday driver? I wonder if at least the software tuning will be retroactive back to the DEs.

This was answered in another thread - the comment about the front end suspension was about a pre-production DE and Peter R. said they were making changes. Pretty sure the production model DEs have the changes Jonny referred to.
