I've heard others mention a squeak coming from the 2nd row right seat. Mine started doing this in recent weeks, and it's getting progressively worse. Has anyone been able to isolate exactly where it is? I played with it a little today and tried to hear just were it's coming from (sometimes just jamming something next to a squeak makes it go away). I released the seat cushion forward and left the seat back up to look around. I hear the squeak when I put some forward pressure on the seat back to jiggle it (while still latched). Coming from somewhere down around the hinges in the seat area.

Also gave me a chance to reconnect one of the 2 elastic straps that hold the fabric footwell flap in place (behind that seat). One of the 2 was never latched on. The elastic stretches under the seat and clips to a bar near the front of the base.

I know service could ultimately try and find it and fix it, but getting service is a chore in itself. I'll save up the little things until I need something big. In the meantime I'd though I'd see if I can do anything.

I just went through and sprayed all springs and rotation joins that I could find (so glad Lucid left all that uncovered for easy access when the seat cushion is open). Did a short test drive and didn't hear any squeaks. Gonna have to go further to fully test it but definitely better. I can still manually recreate the squeak though, by keeping the passenger-side recline lever released, then (modestly) jamming the seatback to it's furthest point. When it hits the limit, it still creates that squeak deep down somewhere near the floorboard (like where the seat frame is attached to the floor). I sprayed all the attach points too (that I could readily get to). I can still create the squeak manually but it's better. Maybe good enough now that it won't happen while driving. 🤞
 
I sprayed just that bracket, that they mention in that reddit post for now. Will see if that helps at all. If not, then will go your route, which makes sense totally, just don't want that WD-40 smell all over the car :)

Yeah, I've got that smell now. But it'll fade.

I know my squeak isn't coming from that center seat because I can recreate it on that '40' seat and not the '60' seat. Can definitely hear it's in there too when I get in close. But it may very well be the same issue, just on another spring or joint, so I just went ahead and did em all (that I could get to).
 
Mine came back when they replaced the 2nd row as part of the safety recall and I didn't want to take it back, so.......stow your 3rd row, place the gap covers in and then move the 2nd row back to wedge up hard against the cover. That fixes it :)
 
Alright, after carefully spraying just that small bracket from that reddit post above I took my Gravity for a 20 minute test drive (hoping to catch 3.6.3 update...sigh). Not a squeak from that 2nd row, wow, and I tried to deliberately to drive over the bumps and uneven parts of our local roads. It did seem to work! I don't expect the effect of WD-40 to last forever though, but not a big deal to re-touch that bracket in the future again

Spraying everything took care of my squeak too. But I've still got the rattle. I didn't describe them separately but I've had both coming from that 2nd row passenger-side area. I just drove it again today trying to isolate it. When I drop the seat back, it goes away. Comes back when I raise the seat back again (even with the seat cushion forward). Can't find anything obvious that seems loose that could be rattling. The seat back itself has just a little bit of play in it, so it could be that, but it doesn't seem like that's it. The rattle sounds like it's coming from something smaller. I don't think the whole seat back would cause that sound.

Stumped so far.
 
for the rattle I had previously with my 2nd row (drove me insane for months) I took it to the service (to fix among other problems). Maybe the notes will help you to narrow it down?!

Concern: Client states that there is a rattle coming from the second row seats noticeable during normal driving and road vibrations, check and advise.

Cause: 60/40 seat frame rails making contact with dowel pin in floor boards

Corrections: Verified customer concern of rattle noise from the second-row seating area. Performed two road tests totaling approximately 6 miles with assistance from a technician seated in the second-row for evaluation. First drive was conducted with the seat unoccupied, and the second drive was conducted with the seat occupied. The rattle noise was reproduced during the second drive. Performed inspection of both 60% and 40% second-row seat assemblies. Removed both seat sections to isolate the source of the concern. Upon inspection, found dowel pin studs contacting the seat frame rails on both seat assemblies at the mounting locations to the vehicle floor.

Adjusted seat fitment approximately 1 mm on both seat assemblies to properly center the seat frames around the dowel studs and eliminate contact.Reinstalled seats and torqued all fasteners to factory specifications. Performed post-repair validation road test. No abnormal rattles present from the second-row seating area at this time. Repair verified.

Try to move it forward 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
That was my fix on the middle row driver side.

Thanks. I tried to look for a dowel pin stud (whatever that is, although Google gave me an idea of what to look for) but couldn't see anything visible. They may have to remove the seat from the mount to get to that. But just moving the seat forward a skosh eliminated the rattle.

In the mean time a found a little broken piece of plastic just sitting on top of the frame. And there's a tail end of a cable (like a bike brake cable) that loosely rubs on the frame that I thought might cause a rattle, so I dropped a bead of hot glue onto it as an insulator just in case.

and the squeak is back, it was a good ~4 days squeakless run ...sigh. I had a feeling this needs a more substantial approach

Yep, thanks! Located the squeak coming from the right side of the 2nd rown bench (so, passenger side) , not sure where from exactly, I think from the very bottom under the seat, and it's easily reproducible. Sliding that side all the way to the back solves the issue, no more squeak. So maybe appying WD-40 was false positive, cause moving seatsl back and forth seems to affect the squeak more.

That plastic isn't just broken it looks melted and corroded. I'd definitely be raising that with the Service Center to make sure there's not another issue somewhere.

Finding random pieces of plastic brings vivid memories of our GGTs home delivery when I found a few of those, mainly clustered around the 2nd row seat track area, which in our car had missing telescopic cover....

Our car apparently has an easter egg to this day as well - a rattling screw somewhere inside the lower part of the trunk door. It only gets dislodged when the car is on a very uneven surface (parked on a serios incline/decline),otherwise it's sitting quiet there. First time my wife told me about it I thought she was kidding, but then I heard it myself...oh well
