Rear seat belt alarm with car seat

We just picked up our Lucid Gravity and as we were driving off the lot, my 5 year old’s car seat triggered the rear seat belt alarm.

My understanding is the safety protocol for car seats is to NOT buckle the seatbelt underneath it, but we couldn’t figure out another way.

We can’t be the only Lucid owner with a car seat, can we?

Seat sensors are a little trigger happy. We didn’t buckle the seatbelt either (as recommended) and it tends to go away quickly.

Depends on the car seat. Ours passes the seatbelt through the car seat and underneath, not just IsoFix, so you have to buckle it.
