23 AIR GT and Gravity GT
Hello everyone!!

I have a 2023 Air GT lease that’s set to expire this weekend, but I’m planning on extending it for another month to see if I can get a few issues sorted out. I’ve got a few questions and was hoping to hear from others who’ve been in the same situation.

Windshield replacement for $2400. I guess, i need to work with my insurance to get this replaced? These chips/nicks are hard to find at first glance.

The paint thickness on my left rear door doesn’t match the rest of the car. He asked if it had been in an accident, I told him it hadn’t — that’s exactly how it came from the factory. He mentioned that he didn’t notice any repainting on the door and mentioned he hadn’t seen anything like this before. Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

Also, none of the items have labor charges mentioned. Is that a surprise to expect in the final bill?

Now for the infamous undercarriage — here’s how mine looks. He didn’t classify it as excessive wear and tear, and there were no charges noted in the report. Should I be concerned?

Seems like Lucid/BOA just wants us to lease the cars, keep them parked in the garage until the lease ends, and then return them.
The real kicker? I went ahead and leased a Gravity last month before the EV rebate expired — so I’ll be dealing with this all over again in three years! :) :(
Wish I’d paid more attention to what’s been happening with lease returns lately — I probably wouldn’t have gotten the Gravity. So far, I’ve managed to steer four friends away from leasing a Lucid. They can just drive mine whenever they feel like experiencing one. Beautiful cars though!!

Yeah I noticed they skipped over their just as bad glass policy too. They are the only brand that charges a windshield replacement for pits, which are normal wear and tear.

It’s quite telling they didn’t address their glass policy. Virtually every windshield on the road has those pits.

Funny you mention that door. On my 26, that same door is funky too. The trim is bent a little weird and looks different than the other side. It doesn’t line up the same on the corners.
