Potential Buyer with Service and Software Questions

Can you be more specific of Tesla software features that Lucid is lacking? I have an older Model X (before it was discontinued), have test driven the 2026 Model X, and have been a passenger in friends’ Model 3, S, and Y. Those drives just reinforce how much better my Gravity is.

Tesla is obviously ahead in FSD (supervised), but 3.6.0 hands-free was a big step forward for Lucid. Camp mode is missing, so I use Creature Comfort mode for now. Things like fart mode was good for a laugh but not something I miss.

My experience is that the Gravity UX is great and I like it over Tesla’s UX.

Remote Fart. Lucid simply doesn’t have the tech.

Came for the mi/kWh (thanks for the numbers) and will leave a couple of other goodies that might help "First time EV buyer". I have a 2024 Lucid Air Pure (soo fun to drive, every time!) and the average mi/kWh total is 4.05 over 21,008 miles which is 356.4 average actual miles. This car does not have the heater box for heating so might use maybe 20 miles more on a charge on a cold day, the newer ones do have the heater box (2025 on, I think). You may consider a lease as they are reasonable and in 3 years (if you lease it for that amount of time) you would not be stuck with a car you can't get rid of (if you buy it) if Solid State Batteries are in production then. BTW: I am looking to lease a 2027 Lucid Air Touring when my present lease on the 2024 is up. Last, insurance on these cars is not cheap, but not real terrible. I am in northern CA in a major metropolitan area and today I was given a quote a hair over $2400.00 for 6 mos. on just the 2027 Lucid Air Touring (they put the price of the car at $86,500.00). This is via Allstate and I have an Umbrella policy so you can't get the lowest coverages on auto insurance. Course you are in PA and you would have to shop around and see what you can get and word to the wise do this before you get the car so there are no surprises there. Hope that helps.
