Possible combination? GT Gravity premium leather, no massage feature? I love the leather, but the massage seats are not for me... I found that on long drives, the lack of cushion in the massage seats actually make me have to get a massage, and any trip over an hour my back starts to hurt something fierce. Where in the regular leather seats in the Air Touring with no massage, I can sit all day.

Not possible with the current packages. The only non-massaging seats are the basic Mojave Purluxe, all of the upgraded interiors (leather or purluxe) have the 18 way adjustments, massage and the tray tables in the back.

@RandomDesign is right. No way to have leather and no massage option as of today.

You should consider asking for a longer drive test and see for yourself. I consider the seats very comfortable and with enough cushion, but everyone is different. From my experience back ache often means that the seats were not set properly and might need some more experimentation with seat height, distance from the steering wheel (both too close and too far is bad, you might end up with some tense muscles for no reason), backrest angle, and lumbar support. But that's just my experience...

Thanks. I will definitely ask for a longer test drive. Thanks very much for the advice!

New Gravity owner--1200 miles now. During same day service to replace non-functional front air damper they gave me an AIR touring to drive.
The seating position in the AIR hurt my back after 10 minutes. The GRAVITY seat height is like sitting in a regular chair. Even higher than my old (2016) KIA Sorento.
The AIR for me is like sitting on the floor.
The GRAVITY lumbar support is excellent and the massage functions are subtle but, I think, perfect for distance driving without being distracting.
I have driven 2 1/2 hours at a stretch and don't even notice my back when I get out. I do have the seat closer to the wheel. I noticed when I was researching yoke vs. squircle vs. round that the race drivers sit very close to the wheel now as opposed to straight arm old fashioned race driving, which is how I drove my KIA. That may make a difference as alluded to by VeryPowerful above.

Interesting comparison, thanks for sharing. The seating height difference you describe really matches what I’ve felt too — the Gravity feels much more like a normal chair, while the Air definitely puts you low. Lumbar support makes a huge difference on longer drives, and subtle massage sounds ideal rather than gimmicky.
