2025 Lucid Air Touring
Just finished a trip from Portland to Port Saint Lucie, stopped 20 times at EA and once at ChargePoint, almost 3200 miles in my 2025 AT with 19” wheels. Typically stopped after 250 miles of driving.

Notes:
1. Never a problem finding a charger within range
2. EA charge station ALWAYS worked, never saw a charge station out of order
3. Charging at ChargePoint felt like a cluster-f, so only used them once. Tough to get charging started. Not all ChargePoint chargers were online
4. 1 issue being charged for idle. Stopped at EA at a Walmart. After starting the charge, dashboard said 1.5 hours to get to 100%. Went into Walmart, enjoyed a coffee. More than an hour later went back to car, had been idle for 50 minutes over grace period. Lesson learned, breaks outside the car would be 10-15 minutes
5. Even though I set limit to 100%, never actually went to 100. Typically stopped in low 90’s with over 400 miles of range on dashboard
6. Stopped at a friends place in The Villages. He has a Mach-E, so I was able to use his home charger to fill up
7. 21 total stops for charging, total charge cost, including the idle, was $391
8. Interstates in ID, UT and WY have speed limits of 80 MPH. Set cruise control to 86. Passed a couple of Staties stopped in center median monitoring traffic. Not stopped for speeding
9. Speedometer accuracy not good. When dash reads 63, independent GPS reading said 60
10. From the trip odometer which was reset about 100 miles east of Portland, 865 kWh and 3.88 mi/kWh
11. Route by state was OR, ID, UT, WY, NE, MO, IN, KY, TN, GA, FL

Finally, GREAT car for cross-country road trip, but it was loooong.

Respectable efficiencies for your long trip. I drive between AZ and CA, 780miles each way. I do that 2X to 3X/year. I use both my AGT and my Rivian for these trips. My AGT average efficiency is between 3.75-3.85 mi/kWh, similar to yours.

This is normal. Many manufacturers overstate speed by 1-3mph to prevent potential liability. Overstating speed is not going to get them in trouble; understating it is a huge no-no.

My Porsches have always read 3-4 mph high as well. I wonder - does this get them to the warranty limit 5% faster than reality though?
 
Wow what a trip! Thanks for sharing your experience.

Chargepoint has always been a pain for me, I've been left out to dry by them enough to totally discount them when doing any route planning. Ionna and Rivian have been rock solid with EA being a fallback option.
