Recently, my family celebrated my Dad’s 80th birthday at a restaurant that has been around, but we’ve never been to before. The food was amazing. Portions were sizable and each dish was well seasoned and flavorful. However, the service was slow and not very attentive. When we were ready to order, we had to flag someone down to take our order. When we needed our waters refilled, we had to flag someone down to ask for more water. When we were ready for cake, we had to flag someone down to clear the table and serve the cake. This restaurant experience is similar to my first and most recent Lucid Service Center experience.
I am providing a summary of my experience below so that other current and future Lucid owners, especially those in the Pacific Northwest, will know what to expect when having their vehicle serviced by the Seattle Service Center.
Background

My service experience lasted 16 days. All the issues were addressed and were covered under warranty. However, I still notice a slight rattle from the rear roof when going over bumps. Also, the rear driver side door trim still protrudes but not as much as before. I will drive the vehicle for a while more to see if anything else needs to be addressed before having these issues re-assessed.
My overall Lucid service experience was okay. Like the restaurant at my Dad’s birthday celebration, the service was slow and not very attentive. It is frustrating that my vehicle waited in queue at the Service Center for over a week before service began. Additionally, throughout the service process I had to ask about basic things and oftentimes, I had to ask and ask again before receiving a reply.
At the end of the day, I am happy with the product, and I am glad that I purchased my Lucid Air GT. I hope this post is helpful for other owners and future owners, especially those in the Pacific Northwest. What has been your service experience? Was my service experience similar or different to yours?
