Gravity
I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion regarding the two 70 mph range tests that dropped on Youtube over the weekend on the Gravity. The first was from State of Charge, Tom Moloughney and the other was from Notch EV. Both tests were 100% SOC to 0% SOC. Both tests that were independently done, came up with the same result 345 miles or 105 mile short of the 450 EPA stated range which is a pretty significant difference. Tom reached out to Lucid who indicated that there was an issue with the Rear Drive Unit but didn't elaborate. Also the battery was at zero after using 115 kw, which means there is a big buffer. My car just went into production but I'm very concerned with all the quality issues. I'm wonder if anyone who has been driving the Gravity for awhile is getting close to 3.6 miles / kw of range. I live in the mountains of Colorado where it is cold and hilly. I wanted a EV with a lot of range but if the real range is more like 350 I'm not so sure. I'm also 6 hours from a service center and don't have the time to keep going to the service shop.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
