2026 LUCID GRAVITY GT
I have a 2026 lucid gravity grand touring. Ever since I bought it, when I use a Bluetooth phone connection, hands-free, anyone that talks to me or hears me on my cell phone tells me it sounds very poor. The quality is bad so I have to end up just using my speakerphone on my cell phone. Has anyone experienced poorsound quality that’s perceived when speaking with others when using the hands-free Bluetooth ?

Air has had the same problem 4-ever!! They have been promising to fix and rumors are it will be soon, at least in the Air. Fingers crossed as it is really annoying!!

Bluetooth sound quality problems have been posted to this forum by others. Some have the problem, some don’t. Some reported that a software reboot or system update fixed it, while that didn’t work for others. At least one person had their microphone replaced, which didn’t help.

My Gravity has been fine; it came with 3.3.20 installed. I’ve taken both internet conference calls and cell phone calls without anyone complaining.

BTW, convention is not to shout (avoid all caps).

I picked up a GGT in Dec. It has 3.3.20 on it, and the sound quality (for the person I'm calling) is terrible. I can hear them just fine, but I also need to switch to speaker phone so they can hear me. It's an older Moto G Stylus 5G (2021) running Android 12. I guess I'll test out a few other phones like my wife's older iPhone. I'm a bit baffled (but sadly not surprised) that this functionality has issues. I guess I'll try the soft reset. I find it interesting that the infotainment system soft resets itself when you lock/leave the car. It makes me wonder if this unintentional soft-reset is masking many other bugs. I hope Lucid is analyzing all our error telemetry and making fixes (or adding more logging).

BTW, I chuckled a bit about the shouting in the title. Pretty appropriate given no one can hear him (over the phone, of course!).

To add a little data, I have spoken with several people over WhatsApp through Bluetooth and ran into 0 issues.

So it’s not a mic issue directly, but whatever way it uses the phone app on your phone, or cellular vs data, or whichever way you want to slice it depending on your tech skills.

Or maybe mine just works perfectly, try WhatsApp and see if yours works.

My '26 GT has the same problem! Why does my '23 Ford pickup sound so good and have wireless Apple play that is seamless and I we need to deal with this on a newer car that cost 2X the Ford? Lucid PLEASE fix this!

My Bluetooth phone connection is pretty good and notice no real issues. This is like many Lucid issues; 90% of people have no issues but then 10% have big problems. Then with another software issue, a different small group of people will have problems. Totally random on who will have which problems. Supposedly there are a couple of unicorns out there that have zero issues but I have serious doubts about those claims.

Our quality is poor. Hard to hear the person in the Gravity and the background noise is like you are in a wind tunnel.

The all caps scare me…

Mine works great.

Two Airs-Touring & Pure both 2024. Phone calls either directly or via CarPlay have and are useless across several phones. Gave up asking service for a fix after countless requests, discussions…I leave a Poly/Plantronics Voyager in the cars. Given how much I need to be on calls while driving it’s a real bummer.

Ours is bad on our '26 Gravity, December '25 delivery. On the other end it sounds like it is cutting out. People on the other end ask us to call back using the phone only because it is too difficult to have a conversation. Really disappointing. Waiting for a fix.
