Pilot Panel won't stay closed

I am renting an Air and I opened the panel with the button, when I go to close it, it closes and then automatically opens back up. I even tried rebooting the car and it is still doing it. Any ideas?

I'd clean the sensor with a wipe.

Where you touch with your finger.

I had this exact issue. They had to change the motor. Takes a couple of hours.

Thanks everyone. Mine is working again. I cleaned the screen a few times and jammed it around a bit and it finally stays closed. I won't open it again until I return it

I thought my AT panel touched down harder than expected, but it seems yours is doing the same (the "thump" sound at the 5 second mark). Is everyone else's experience similar, or does it touch down smoother? I've driven an AGT for a few days and it felt like the panel touched down smoother, but I may be misremembering.
