Outside charger installation

Does anyone know if there are home chargers approved for outdoor installation? I don't *want* to install it outside. But that might be my best option given the setup of my garage and home electrical setup. Living in Buffalo, any outdoor units would have to be able to withstand some significant weather conditions. Thanks for any information you can provide.

Yes, there are several. You can look at Tom Moloughney’s state of charge reviews. I think the GrizzLe and the Juicebox work outside. Perhaps the ChargePoint Flex. Watch those State of charge reviews. he does a frozen cable test which is useful if one is charging outside in the winter.
