OTA Update 2.7.0

I'm updating our phones to Android 16 now. Hope it doesn't cause any surprises with Android Auto.
It does not. Android 16 now on our Pixel 7 and 9.

In fact, after the update yesterday AM, I got in the Lucid and my pixel 9 asked me: want to connect AA? I hit connect. Everything worked. No need to delete, reconnect, no need to reset. No watermark. Flawless.

Has just about everyone who got the update has been able to install it without any problems occurring afterwards?
Yes for me. Pixel 9 Pro on Android 16. Flawless. No need to delete or reconnect or reset.

No problems here, other than having to turn the cars bluetooth off and on (or reboot infotainment) to get AA to connect. Haven't tried it again after updating my phone to Android 16 last night.

Interesting I got two of those yesterday while still on 2.6.16. First time ever I've seen them and my windows were closed. I drove the car and opened and closed the reported window and haven't seen the message since. But I'm wondering whether there's a bug in Lucid's back end system
must be a bug - I got "driver door open notification" which was a false alarm.

Installed late Monday night. No issues whatsoever.

No problems here except for the fact that I've grown so accustomed to not having AA in the Lucid, I need to retrain myself how to use AA instead of the native navigation

Hmm… It seems like the only option (for now) is to change your phone’s wallpaper to black-colored/themed image and enable the wallpaper setting.
Yes...I thought about that ...then my phone would look fugly.

So guess its either my Lucid AA will look fugly or my phone...Lol.

Oh well...its not a big deal I'll just live with the fugly AA display on my Lucid.

Took 37 minutes to install. No problems. iPhone user, but have had issues with soft close on my drivers door. (Minor annoyance, but hoping it's fixed.)

Waze on AA is so much cleaner (crisper) than the CarPlay. It's also integrated with the cockpit where the directions show up on the right side of the driver screen. So far, no issues with AA as I can tell!

I've been waiting for AA since the day I picked I up the car (2025 Touring). When I heard 2.7 was finally released, I was 'cautiously optimistic'. Like a few others reported, I did the update last night and when I got into the car afterwards, no issues whatsoever. Pixel 9 with Android 16. Asked to start AA, did the approvals and wa-la: AA. Got in this morning and it started right away.

I was also concerned that the phone's GPS would have issues because of the canopy's metallicized glass, but from what I hear, AA can use the car's GPS. Guessing that's what it's doing because waze was dead-on reliable and accurate.

So happy.

Can you select apps on launcher? If so, how to do it ? I would like to add waze..
How it's done on my S20

My update seemed to go relatively smoothly. I did the logo reset before and after the update, and also removed the phone from the connected bluetooth devices in the car settings.

The only thing that I noticed was strange is that 1) the temperature units spontaneously changed to metric from imperial after the update, and 2) I'm having trouble adding the phone back as a phone key. Still working on that.

Oh no! I haven't gotten the download yet but I will legitimately lose my mind if I see that when I do. Ughhhhh

Finally got the update today... and oh my f'ing god AA is indeed entirely crooked on the panel. A good centimeter of padding below the left side of the AA rectangle that dwindles to nothing on the right side. Extremely obvious, extremely irritating.

Is CarPlay the same way? Hasn't that been out for a while now?
