OTA Update 2.6.16

I got that warning yesterday while reversing into parking spot. Walked away and had lunch. Haven’t had the alert again after multiple times reversing into spots throughout the day. Have not done an air logo reset since the update.
I too just got the Emergency Parking Brake Unavailable message just now. @marqie is this a bug in the release or something I should be concerned about. Had no warnings before the update.

Mine came and went. Was like a flash in the pan a few times, then resolved. Haven't had it since.

just did my update last night, followed by a reboot .. although I waited about 10 mins after the update to reboot just to let the car try to re-sync systems after the update. reboot was x + mic + brake pedal. drove it this morning using the updated drive assist .. it's really really nice. feels like they revamped the entire thing. hopefully this is an enabler of more things to come. @Bobby is a good dude.
Thanks for your insights as well. Sure makes owning and driving a Lucid more enjoyable when others add their experiences, both positive and negative. I had a similar experience when I owned a Crossfire but this is way more valuable since my EV IQ was basically zero when I purchased my Touring.

Marqie, can you clarify if/how a “power cycle” differs from the Air and steering wheel reset?
Power cycle means locking the car and leaving it for 30 seconds or so until everything shuts down (i.e. all interior lights such as the indicator on the overhead console turn off). The car can be unlocked after that and will power back on.

Got back to the car a few hours later and the warning was still there when I put it in to reverse. A soft reset didn’t clear it but a hard reset did. Seems to have gone now. Hopefully never to return. :)
Want to clarify the message I was seeing was “Rear Emergency Braking Unavailable” which appeared a few days after I had upgraded and when I went in to reverse. Message also appeared in the Dream Drive settings half way down.

Got 2.6.16 installed yesterday. Luckily no disasters thus far. Don't see much difference in the car's behavior in general. However there is a new (and quite amusing) warning in the Dream Drive saying something like "your face cannot be recognized and therefore stop and go function is unavailable". Has anybody else run into this? *

*And a few disclaimers for the regular fan base: 1. Lucid is the greatest car/technology company. 2. Nobody ever promised that any updates will come within any specific time frame. 3. No competitor even comes close in terms of other features/characteristics of the Lucid Air. 4. The majority of fresh owners have never been through what the pioneer owners have, thus they don't have a right to complain. Did I forget anything?

Nah, you covered it in the disclaimers. I approve. You may continue.

I tried to take a picture of it yesterday, good eye. I’ll try to get one when I go for a drive later tonight. They have also added a few other interstitial warnings that are nice:

There is a new APP update 2.3.1 in the App Store which just says bug fixes and enhancements. If you are having issues with the app or mobile key, you should update.

Got the update yesterday for my ‘22 GT. I didn’t get a chance to check things out until this morning. Immediately, I got the Drive System Warning error message. I did the hard reboot but still there. I needed to take my wife to the airport in Phoenix so I decided to drive it anyway as it seems was operating normally. I even engaged Dream Drive to check it out. DDP seemed much smoother for the short time I had it on. Lane change seemed very smooth. Decided to call Customer Support before I left the airport. She asked if I did the hard reboot. Yes I did. She then sent a message to the Scottsdale SC and I decided to heard there since I was very close. I actually got to the SC before the Service Request came in. I talked to them about the issue. They have not seen or heard anything yet. They insisted I leave car just make sure I didn’t get stranded. Very accommodating as usual. I have a loaner and they will be in touch with me most likely tomorrow. Stay tuned….
