Curious if anyone else experiences these short run, high efficiency trips with their car? I make a lot of short (10-15 mile) runs from the house to local destinations and see these >5mi/kWhr efficiencies. Today was 5.13, but I’ve had others higher than the 6.21 limit on the tracking. More typical in current weather is 4.25 mi/kWhr, and I’ve had 3.8 mi/kWhr over the last year.
Details are 2024 Air Touring with 19” wheels, typical speeds on these short runs are 45-50 mph on rural roads with intermittent stop lights. Weather for peak performance is high 70F to low 80F, daytime, no wipers or massage running, climate on auto at 70 degrees.
