Morning all,
I was contacted by lucid yesterday that my orphaned Gravity is about to ship to me in Tyson’s Corner VA. They say 2-3 weeks I should have the car. I was given the option to switch to an in production car without power package and mid size wheels. I decided to go ahead and 4-5 weeks later the car finished production late last week.
I am looking forward to using this as my daily driver (instead of my Dream AIR) because the extra functionality should outweighs the growing pains for me (fingers crossed).
I decided to lease my Gravity over 36 months that will cost me about $64,000 total (about half of the total cost to buy outright). My build without taxes was about $120,000 without taxes and fees.
I owned by Air since February/22 and it has been the longest car I ever owned because it is the perfect car from a luxury and performance blend. I feel that I have been lucky with very few issues with my AIR (except with some early software issues).
I have read daily posted about the Gravity to keep up to date from early owners and I am grateful for everyone’s honest feedback even when some were overly critical. I think it’s healthy when people share both experiences and people can make their own decisions what is best for them.
