Not understanding this anchor post thing

Hi, sorry I’m not sure what anchoring posts mean ?? I tried reading the previous threads to understand but I just don’t want to make a mistake, what type of all weather mats do I get for a sapphire 2024? My 23 gt I recall had like the round circles to click in, I just forgot exactly how it worked, so would i need with anchoring posts or without
