Strangest thing happened a week or so ago. After flawless scheduled charging since Lucid added that update, my 2023 Air Touring started charging as soon as I plugged it into my charger, even though it was set for scheduled charging eight hours later. So I stopped charging, removed the cable, reinserted the cable, but it started charging again. So I tapped "Stop charging" and left it, assuming it would charge that night. It did not. Nor did it ever L2 charge again.

The indicator LEDs on my hardwired Grizzl-E indicate that it is functioning normally and it "sees" the car. When I plug in the cable to the Lucid the Lucid display reads "cable connected." But it won't charge. I have toggled the Grizzl-E circuit breaker twice for a minute to reset the charger, but that made no difference.

I have done two of the "brake pedal steering wheel buttons" resets as suggested by Lucid customer service. It made no difference.

I also used Lucid's own supplied cable and plugged it into a 117v AC outlet to trickle charge, but it did not charge. So I'm fairly certain the problem is not the Grizzl-E.

I drove to an EA DCHV charger and it charged just fine, although slower than usual. I have been in touch with Lucid's Goose Island service center and they are on it. The service director claims this is a first. He's been very responsive, but needed to forward the problem to the tech staff out in California. So as long as I'm willing to drive 12 miles each way I can charge at the only EA chargers in Champaign-Urbana, IL. Fortunately, they are fairly new and work well. (Incidentally, starting about four months ago I stopped having any problems with EA chargers.)

As a compliment to Lucid, I reached customer service on Christmas morning without a wait. Bravo to the selfless souls to work the phones on such an important holiday morning. They stuck with me for more than half an hour of remote guidance before we gave up. Then Goose Island called first thing on Friday. (Ironically while I was charging at EA.) I expect to hear from them tomorrow about whether I need to drive the car to Chicago or whether mobile service might be able to deal with it here.

While I'm not happy about the charging situation, I think thus far Lucid has dealt with it in an exemplary fashion.

I experienced the same symptoms as you 2 years ago when I first took delivery of my AGT in Nov 2022. The car would not charge on L2 at home but would charge at a DCFC. Lucid dispatched mobile tech to my home. The mobile tech said it was my NEMA receptacles. I upgraded them to Hubbard receptacles, but the problem persisted.

To make a long story short, Lucid eventually replaced the Wunderbox and the HV battery. The car was at the Service Center for 12 days. It worked fine after that.

About a month ago I could not charge the car with the home charger (a hard wired Emporia Classic Level 2 EV Charger) the car kept displaying 'Charging Error' in red on the display. Similar to BS8899, I could successfully charge at Level-3 chargers. Subsequent to this while out of town Goose Island service took the car and 'tested' the charging of the car and found no issues and returned the car. Upon arriving home I plugged the car into the home charger only to have it fail once again - same error. The home charger worked fine for a year and a half prior to this.
At this point I started to suspect the car is the issue not the charger. To prove this I attempted to charged at a few Shell Recharge and Blink chargers with no success.
Now it's back to square one with Lucid to resolve. I suggested they bring another car to the house to see if that can charge here and/or bring a technician to monitor my car while charging.
Having read this thread it gives me some more info on the underlying issue.

Ampere I will contact you directly to get more info.

Let me add a couple of nuances to my episode:

> after my initial call to the SC, they dispatched the same mobile tech twice to my home. I have two NEMA 14-50 installed in my garage. A Juice Box was plugged into one of the MEMA receptacle. The Lucid factory travel charger was plugged into the second NEMA receptacle. I've been using the Juice Box socket on my Honda Clarity PHEV for 2+ years prior to acquiring the Lucid.
> Neither of these two NEMA circuits were able to charge the Lucid.
> The service tech looked over my installations. He took my NEMA-sockets apart, tightened the screws, reinstalled the sockets and was able to get L2 charging going on the Lucid. His conclusion was that I need the best-of-the best receptacle i.e., Hubbard receptacles. I followed his recommendations and upgraded both of my L2 NEA to Hubbard receptacles the next couple of days. However, that did not fix the problem. In reality, it only worked that one time when the service tech was there. The service tech came out a second time, but was unable to make it work again.
> I took the car to the SC. They tried to charge it with L2 in their shop. It did not charge. Obviously, they have been charging other Lucids at the SC without problems. Therefore, the problem was not the NEMA socket or the Lucid travel charger. Eventually, they contacted engineering at Newark and flew a couple of guys out to replace the Wunderbox and the battery.
> the Scottsdale SC did not have L3 charging on site (back in Fall 2022). I don't know if they have it now or not.

I am no expert on this. Based on my experience, it sounded like a Wunderbox problem. The SC should be able to diagnose it.
