Newbie key fob question

We are finding that while the key fob opens the car just fine, none of the buttons on the back, I.e., open frunk, trunk, etc.,are working for us. Is this a known issue or are we doing something wrong? Thx

There are no buttons on the back, that's the legend. It's telling you one click locks, two clicks unlock, one long click opens the frunk... You do it all with the single button on the top

No duh--the online owners manual is a PITA IMO. I would pay $100 for a printed one. (Yes, I understand that upgrades to the car can make in information in the manual obsolete.)
