Hello!

First time Lucid and first time EV owner. Took delivery Dec 30 from the Tysons, VA Studio. It's a 7-seater Super Nova Bronze with Ojai Leather; almost fully loaded but no towing package or HUD. Love the car. So far, no issues or bugs. Build quality looks spot on.

I'm coming from driving Audis for the last 10 years. So, every time I read someone complaining about a glitch or a bug with their Lucid like it's the only brand with problems I chuckle. I am absolutely ecstatic the Lucid app consistently connects and successfully activates the heater. My last car was an Audi Q5 PHEV the app worked maybe 1 out of 10 times (no exageration).

Funny you mention the app reliability. I’m new here too, and coming from ICE / legacy brands, it’s kind of wild how quickly people forget that every manufacturer has software quirks. Your Audi app comparison really puts things into perspective—1 out of 10 would’ve driven me nuts.

He's not kidding,.. the SW in the Audi Q5 pHEV was horrible!
We don't miss that car 😝

I live in Chesterfield.

Being an owner for less than a month and based on your post, you haven't met the crew at the Mechanicsville service center. Nice guys.

I took delivery at home in early August. NFC reader in the center console wasn't reading the key cards. Took it to service center for replacement.

If you continue to have such a positive experience with your Lucid, do you think you would consider sticking with the brand for your next vehicle, or would you be tempted to explore other options?

I'm not blindly loyal to any one brand. I do know Lucid currently checks a lot of boxes for me. In 3 years if they have a vehicle that continues to check those boxes, it would be at the top of my list.

After 3 months of ownership and 3,000 miles, I'm still really happy with the car. Are there minor tech annoyances? Yes. But overall, I would say Lucid is on par or better than my experience with Audi. And we have a really good Audi dealership here (a low pressure sales team and a great service department).

I am in Richmond as well and was hoping to meet up with a Gravity owner to take a look at one. I have had and currently own Teslas, but am interested in the gravity. Looking for someone local would be great rather than driving up to Tysons with weekend traffic. Hopefully is someone is willing to meet up. Thnaks!

I live in Chesterfield County.
If you're willing to drive out to the burbs, I'd be willing to give you a tour of my Gravity GT.

I just took delivery of a '26 Lucid Air Touring and so far very happy. I hear you on the Audi front. The app is mostly useless. My Lucid app works really well. Like it better than the key fob. Also look forward to less maintenance issues compared to Audi. Just look at the engine problems in their 2.0T and 3.0T engines. Nice to see other Lucids in Central Virginia.
