Does Tesla not allow other stations (EA) to have ports to plug NCAS without adapter?

I actually think Tesla would encourage other providers to use NACS. The BP Pulse stations have NACS stations AND CCS. Don’t think Tesla would try to stop folks - plus it’s now an open standard, so Tesla couldn’t stop it, but they could make it so Teslas charge better at Tesla SCs via software.

I think it’s just a matter of the “old” infrastructure being CCS - including ports in cars. I would anticipate everything will switch to NACS as new stations are built and folks will then have to use NACS>CCS for their “legacy” ports.

The NACS plug doesn't solely belong to Tesla now. Tesla opened it up for all to use and has become a certified SAE standard that can be used anyone. Like automakers, it will just take time to phase out the CCS1 cables and move to NACS
