2025 Lucid Air GT
Not sure if my post belongs in driving dynamics but my overriding impression is that the driving dynamics of my 2025, which has Aero Blade wheels are quite positive relative to my 2023 that had 19 Aero Range wheels. I will order a set of Aeronaut wheels/AS tires when they are back in stock.

Unfortunately my 2023 AGT was totaled in a rear end collision in late June. It was declared a total loss in late July at which point my options were limited on a replacement. I could not order a 2026 Air AGT and none close to my preferences were in stock. I also could not order a 2027 AGT in late July. I decided on a 2025 AGT from the Lucid pre-owned program with 6500 miles that was close to my former Air in color and options but does not have DD Pro. In service Sept 2024 so less than two years old. It does not a have even a minor scratch or any other sign of wear. I am particular about such things and this car is like new. I enjoyed DDP on highway drives since it was available and will miss it on long highway segments. I will not miss the take control urgent red warnings that would appear seemingly randomly or take control warnings when I had both hands on the wheel and my eyes on the road. No doubt that it will improve. They were both distracting when in heavy Interstate traffic. FWIW, I did two 2000 mile cross country drives before hands free was active and spent many years with no such aids.

My overriding impression on my 140 mile drive back from Tyson's Corner Studio where the delivery attention was superb is that the 2025 is better in every respect. There is a Lucid temporary service center about 45 minutes from me and their mobile service was been great. It seems to me that the throttle response is much sharper. The front motor mounts noticeably reduce the motor whine at low speeds and there is zero body flex upon exiting my driveway that has a bit of a dip at the street. The regen dial is now a line at the bottom of the instrument panel. There may be other minor changes but so far everything is seamless, including CarPlay. I have not spent much time on configuration so may be missing some helpful settings. Of note is the small section on the windshield to the right of the rear view mirror on which I mounted my EZ Pass and gate transponders. Both are thankfully out of the driver's line of sight.

The assembly process has improved meaningfully over the early builds, or at least compared to my 2023 built in 2022. As we have experienced with OTAs for four years, Lucid is making improvements albiet perhaps not as fast as some may want. There is no other vehicle that I wanted.

This is great to read as I’ve been lowkey shopping around for a possible replacement for my wife’s 23 MY daily commuter. I’ve tossed the Air out to her as an option (she really likes the styling). Would be a nice duo with our GGT. Glad to hear the build quality and software on the Air has improved. We’ve been happy with our GGT (8k miles in 3 months 😂).

Nice to hear it. Aside from Lucid improving their manufacturing and QA over the years, there are several tangible component upgrades in the 2025+ cars that'll make a real difference - CCCv2, heat pump, motor mounts that you mentioned, to name a few. On top of that, those summer tires will be a big step up (in proper conditions) over the A/S on your '23.

It's easy to take progress for granted so it's always good to call it out like this.

After almost four mostly blissful years and 79,000 miles, I just transferred ownership of my Sep 2022-build Air GT.

I felt sad as the car pulled away from my home to set out on its 1700 mile journey to its new owner in Kentucky.

I consoled myself by thinking that when the time is right once again, I’ll be very happy to acquire another brand new Lucid Air GT, with all the new goodies that my early example did not have.

For now I’ll content myself with my other Lucid, a 2026 Gravity GT. I haven’t found it at all difficult to remain very happy with it too.
