Music starts and stops

I checked the forum and didn’t see this posted anywhere. Starting yesterday, my audio will be playing (Spotify) and it pauses for a split second, then resumes. It will do this 2-3 times separated by 30 seconds or so and then will ultimately just stop playing. Any idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

How is the cellular coverage in that area? It sounds like the signal is dropping out and you are losing the data connection to Spotify.
 
That’s a good thought - I don’t think it’s that though because these are all places I’ve been to before, have good cell coverage and happens even when I’m connected to my home Wi-Fi as well
 
Same issue. Got in to drive to airport this morning at 5 am and hoping to listen to CarPlay to keep me conscious. No dice. Just starts and stops. Thought it was my iPhone but radio did it too. Very annoying. Will do a reset when I get back but the ongoing issues with the audio and CarPlay do take away from the great car (ok the key fob sucks too and rarely recognizes me unless I approach a certain way or jiggle my keys). Love the car over the Plaid I used to have but the electronics need some work.

I haven’t had it happen consistently since I posted this so there is some hope for improvement at least

Yeah. It is not constant for me either. Although AirPlay falling to connect is almost daily as is the key fob issue. Still love the car and never gojng back to Tesla.

I think you might be referring to CarPlay. I have had zero connection problems over the last few months, except for the one bug where it fails to connect after home charging. Are you charging your car every night? If not, and you're still having difficulty connecting, send me a private message and perhaps we can jump on a call and I can try to help you.
 
Thanks. Getting up at at 0415 is not helping with the tech talk. CarPlay. Apple Store genius told me to refresh all setting and maybe that would help but don’t want to as that would nuke everything and that would be a bigger hassle. And I do charge at home and that is another issue where scheduled charging is very clunky. Why Ford and Tesla can do these things and Lucid cannot is beyond me as the car is so much better otherwise.

Once again, you are simply restating the problem. Would you like a solution or do you want to just complain? It sounds like the Apple Genius gave you some good information which you have ignored.
