Hi I’ve noticed a significant degradation in music quality when I play the same song in Car Play vs natively using the Spotify app. This is even more strange coz the Apple Music version I’m playing via car play is Lossless while the Spotify version is a regular one. Anyone else seeing this difference in quality ?

It does seem like the sound produced by the CarPlay Spotify has louder bass than that of the native car app. But otherwise, the quality seems exactly the same to me. (Though it is difficult for me to tell the difference in a moving car, what with tire, motor, LCD panel backlight and window switch light whine, and outside noises.)

Check your Spotify playback settings on your phone and make sure it’s set to Very High quality instead of auto, and same on the car.
