I think I might have worked out one of the issues with the mobile key. Apologies if this has already been figured out as I only picked up the car yesterday.
I have a Pixel 9 Pro XL, Location (On, allowed all the time and use precise on), Allow background usage (allow unrestricted). I have passive unlock turned off because i'm going to be constantly walking past the car and don't want to wake it (not that it seems to be an issue). I dont have the key fob with me, only mobile key. I've had the car unlock fine when not home and not unlock at all unless I open the app when home.
I was just reading the app manual and I noticed the mobile key section said "While setting up your Mobile Key, you were prompted to allow Lucid to access your location all the time. This selection allows your Mobile Key to communicate with your vehicle even when the app is closed and your phone is locked in your pocket or bag."
I was wondering if the location is just not accurate enough when home. I took the phone outside the garage with a clear view of the sky but only a few feet from the car. I opened google maps and let the blue dot with the blue ring (inaccurate location) shrink to a blue dot (accurate location) and then pressed in the door handle and it opened immediately. If that's the solution, then I don't think the car will ever unlock if you are inside a house walking to an indoor garage the way its designed at the moment.
