Yeah, you need to swap that ASAP. Do not use it for EV charging. That is unsafe. It can melt and burn your garage/house down.

That is why the Lucid charger stopped playing along. It is protecting you.

Newly installed outlet. Also a Leviton. I was told the old outlet was rated to 25 pounds. The new one 75 pounds

That one is heavy duty and fine. Leviton didn’t used to have this, but now does.

I had the same issue and replaced the socket with an EV socket. But the charger is still tripping (charging stops and charger turns red). Any other ideas to debug the issue?
