Mixing Pirelli/Michelin tires

Sorry if this is a dumb question…I have a Touring with 19” tires and may have a slow leak (long story). I‘ve read a lot of comments here about the superiority of Michelins over Pirellis and wondering which brand I should replace my O.E. Pirelli with if needed.

I wouldn’t run just 1 Michelin. If you go that way, do 2 or 4.
