Marc Winteroff out

The man in these advertisements with his family. It'd be nice if people looked up things before posting, but that's the internet.

OK, OK. Don't know if you are trying to rein in @socktucker or actually think opinion needs to be based on a independent source, however he has certainly had a horrible ownership experience and is entitled to his opinion. No offense meant. ☺️
There’s no acceptable answers there just use that ignore button it will make you happier than trying to deal with someone demanding receipts for obvious speculation like it disproves anything.

Sure, derail every thread and attack someone for disagreeing and calling it out. Good tactic.

Whoa. Let’s calm down folks. This thread is starting to seem a bit full of trolling from both sides at this point. An ad can have real people but still be digitally altered. Seems there are some hardcore Lucid Stans here and some super salty current/former owners.

I’m just here for the community and to share knowledge and love of the vehicles/brand. Maybe have a laugh.

Let’s try to keep it civil?

Based off the busy delivery schedule when I picked mine up, I would agree with you. I’m hopeful for a really good quarter.
Earliest delivery time I could schedule was a week and half out at scottsdale. Also hoping that's a good sign for the quarter.

Just checking this is an investor thread?

Now that we're back on topic, people complain about cash burn. Marc seemed to not be helping fixing that issue and his time as interm CEO is currently shown by the stock price.

Sucks to lose your job, but he was paid handsomely and as investors see it, he wasn't performing to expectations.

This is some interesting background for me on MW decisions. Did not realize he was in that acting role for so long.
It is worrying that it did take so long to name a new CEO. I have a feeling a couple people turned them down. If so, that is not a good sign.

Peter is an engineer, he played his part. Culture hasn’t gone anywhere. Lucid still known for Space, efficiency , performance. Marc had to go.

Right now Lucid needs to cut costs, improve service, continue to work on software. That’s it!

It was a bloated organization due to Saudi money tap.
Culture hasn't gone anywhere? The entire leadership team, who envisioned the products and built the company is gone.

Yes, Lucid does need to do the things you mentioned, but you're 18 months late in your comment. Had they released Marc, they could've addressed that without losing the visionary leaders who redefined the art of the possible in EV ownership.

Now, that's gone and the company will solely be focused on a culture of operational efficiency only. "Only" being the key. Don't think for a minute all the bells and whistles of the Investor Roadmap will be deprioritized and drawn out from a timeline perspective. I'm predicting the Cosmos release will be delayed for at least 12 months ( and rightfully so, until the software and Service issues are fully addressed)

The Board is going to get what they're asking for but it's unfortunate because they could've got it ALSO while maintaining the innovative culture had they released Winteroff instead of Peter, and installed a COO like Napoli.

Months wait in service
30% workforce laid off this year
Stock down 96%
Denver Service Center is 2 guys an a rented garage space
Mobile service is 1 guy for 5 states
Company literally has no COO
10:1 stock reverse split to avoid delisting
Cutting production in half due to poor sales
No sign of 2027 Air, their biggest selling vehicle

When is it okay to say “shambles”?

Sad to see layoffs but I do believe in Mr Napoli is doing what needs to be done.

Company culture is not only from those who appears and speaking on YouTube video, but the whole team that
we don't have visibility on but can experience as paying customer.

One can speculate they are cutting second shift that cars are not selling well with no evidence, I can also say most likely it's the supplier who cannot keep up with quality
parts (yes, its Lucid fault too if that's the case).

Lucid has passed that stage feeling pressured to make experiment or project work, like engineering undergrats. They now need calculated execution and discipline.

I am sure they still have a lot of great idea and innovation, but like Mr Napoli said, its more important to choose what Not to do, or who Not to use in this instance.
