Service may not be able to do anything about these problems as it may be software-related and not hardware. Remember all the steering wheel replacements for the left touch pad? Software 3.4.1 fix it (for most people). See the thread on navigation - it’s a recurring problem for me and others, and I don’t expect service to rewrite the software.
Intermittent problems are the hardest to solve, and it’s not just Lucid. Of course they want to try to replicate - it’s the first thing every service department from every manufacturer from every industry tries. It’s not that they doubt your word. Without being able to replicate, they don’t know what the root cause is and what they need to do. Is it the antenna, wiring harness, electronic interference, poor signal, gps chip, cpu chip, motherboard, peripheral hardware, software, etc. without understanding the cause, any fixes they make are just a wild guess that, more often than not, doesn’t fix the problem.
It’s extremely frustrating for us owners. It’s also frustrating for the service tech that they can’t pinpoint the problem and fix it. Intermittent problems are everyone’s worst nightmare.
