I highly doubt they are partnering...and honestly, after their questionable new branding choices and ad campaign which may turn out to be a Bud Light 2.0, I think that would probably be a bad thing anyways. Also, considering Lucid trolled them almost immediately with a post on X saying "Compromise Nothing" (making fun of Jaguar's "Copy Nothing"), I doubt they would do that to a possible future partner.

I agree, but Jaguar probably desperately needs their tech to make this product viable. They are VERY late to the party. This will be copied by the Chinese in 6 months too...

Read page 12- exclusivity portion

Lucid forbidden to supply commercial volume of any goods at a Aston competitor until April 1st 2026
But also allowed to announce partnerships after Dec 1st 2023-

Perhaps Jaguar testing Lucid tech prior to announcing partnership for a 2026 release?
Huh?

By that logic, any EV coming out in 2026 will have Lucid tech in it... cant wait for the Honda-Sony-Lucid Afeela!

This is not true. Jaguar released the I Pace in 2018. I had one and it was excellent. Range Rover is releasing an EV this year. Tata makes 5 different electric car models (although not for the US). Their sales outpaces Lucid by 10x.

Doubtful. I sat in the early Afeela prototype last year. My employer is involved with ADAS software. The current pictures look a lot different, and nicer than it was. The front and rear ends have a more Lucid look to it, rather than the mini billboard screens they had on the first prototype. And it now has real mirrors! They still need to change the name of that thing!

I rode in one of my relative's Tata Tiago EV back in India, and for the price (~9000 USD), it was simply lovely. I agree with you.

I would add that Waymo has also given Jaguar an excellent view of what happens with an EV with high mileage given their usage in the Bay and Phoenix areas.
