Now that some of the executive management changes have started to bake into the company, how are we feeling about the direction of the Lucid? Personally, I think we are seeing the new management actually solving problems and improving operations throughout the company. Changes like these take time and a ton of energy, but I think we are starting to see the fruits of their labors. The speed and comprehensiveness of recent software updates for both the Air and the Gravity are a significant improvement over past practices. Communication from the company seems better and clearer. Even the vibe I get from our own Marqie seems extremely positive (not that it was bad before--Marqie is a pro's pro).

As Lucid enthusiasts/evangelists we want everything to be perfect, and if it isn't, we want it to be fixed NOW. And if it isn't, well we're not shy about voicing displeasure. I honestly believe I am seeing a greatly improved Lucid, and am excited to see what they can do going forward.

Thoughts?

Agreed - I think my own recent sunny turn was prompted by Gravity OTA 3.6.0's new features and bug fixes.
Now to do the same thing with service!

I've got a feeling they are all over that, and we will see some results in 6-9 months (maybe sooner if management is really good).

I agree, I'd say Q2 results are likely to be more like a "recovery" period after the production issues earlier in the year, and the bigger effects of management's works will come into fruition on the later half of the year.

I agree that there seem to be some encouraging signs lately. The software updates have been arriving more consistently, and communication from the company feels more transparent than before. While there is still plenty of work ahead, it looks like the new leadership is focusing on execution and customer experience. If they can maintain this momentum and continue improving operations, the future of Lucid could be very promising.

And now Emad is gone

THIS is how fast the world changes... 🙃

I guess the takeaway here is that we know very little about what is going on inside Lucid at the moment.
Agreed. Which is a real problem when you're trying to decide if you're willing to drop a hundred grand on an EV from a startup with an uncertain future.
