Lucid, Lattes, Cigars and Golf? - Riverside, CA

Hi everyone,

Looking to see what the interest would be on me hosting a Lucid, Lattes and Golf event at the Victoria Club in Riverside CA. We have an excellent parking lot which can accommodate parking our vehicles (probably 50-75) and a nice restaurant grill room for coffee and americanos; and a pretty great machine so not terrible drip coffee. I’d be willing to host the event and pay for the coffee and light hors d’oeuvres. Any alcoholic drinks can be settled with me directly; or other purchases. I’ll also get some co-branded hats made to hopefully make it a more regular event.

As for the golf and cigar components; I’d bring some cigars and encourage others to buy some from the club or bring their own as my guest. I’ll attach some pictures of the club to this post.

Please let me know if you’d be interested; and what months would work for you. I’m thinking May or June 2025 to give us some time to loop others in and plan further details.

As for the golf side, if there are any lucid golfers in the forums I will be happy to take yah out on the course for the guest rate. Would be a nice end to a fun day of Lucid fun.

How does Friday, June 27th 2025 work for everyone?

The day would work for me. I usually go to all the SoCal meetups and I may come to this just for the company. I haven't made a final decision yet. I don't like cigars and me on a golf course would be a disaster. In the hour I spent taking a lesson at a driving range, most of them rolled along the ground. I managed to get three balls to catch air and go about 50 yards, and I was excited to see those.

Would be mostly just a car and coffee meetup! If people wanna play happy to host after, but I’ll put out some more guidance in a bit.

Think of it just as a regular meetup! Hopefully Lucid will be able to come out, but if not I’ll bring at least 3 Lucid’s with @Denali_Dane ’s being the third. Probably do coffee and appetizers.

In a past life in other car groups we even went for a little cruise to show off our rides.
