Does anyone know when this is going to be in stock? It has been out of stock for months. Are there acceptable alternatives on aftermarket websites?
They come into stock once in a while but sell out fast. I managed to grab one after someone posted that they were in stock a while back, after many months of waiting. Keep checking on a regular basis.Does anyone know when this is going to be in stock? It has been out of stock for months. Are there acceptable alternatives on aftermarket websites?
Same here. It's gone in and out of stock a couple of times since then.I got mine mid-June when it was in last in stock so it hasn't been that long really.
Ah, I hadn't seen a post about it being in stock since then but we've been travelling a fair bit the last two months and easy to miss if there was one.Same here. It's gone in and out of stock a couple of times since then.
Is it not just two pieces of plywood and a hinge? Honestly asking. I haven’t bought one because it looks ridiculously overpriced, but maybe I just don’t understand the design.I'd just wait for it to come back, I can't imagine any alternative would work as well as the real one.
It is a bit more than that as the 2nd row seats can be moved back and forward so the piece needs to be able to cover for different space widths. Sort of like the cover for the storage area behind the 3rd row seats (if you have the 7 seat gravity0. Shows up here in the first pictureIs it not just two pieces of plywood and a hinge? In addition to the flaps, the overall quality is excellent. The material is the same as the rest of the Gravity cargo space, it’s form fitting to the entire space, and the hinge is solid with enough resistance to lock it in place. I keep it stowed until I need to fold down the 3rd row seats (it folds flat). It is a bit more than that as the 2nd row seats can be moved back and forward so the piece needs to be able to cover for different space widths. I see the gap as a feature instead of a design flaw. I sometimes use the extra storage in the gap. It’s a significant amount of space, and I would hate it if Lucid permanently got rid of the gap.[…] I would also like this design flaw fixed so this isn’t needed.
We likewise use the space as storage for when we are traveling (assuming no one is occupying the 3rd row). It does give quite a bit of space. We put cases of wine and squishable things in the space which allows for a somewhat flat space (not perfect, but it works)I see the gap as a feature instead of a design flaw. The removable gap cover is a good compromise. Perhaps Lucid should include the gap cover for all Gravities.
I heard, or I am starting, a rumor that it will be in the rewards store when it returns to stock.Be nice if it was in the referral store!
I'm hoping that the tuxmat trunk liner fits over the gap. I'll know tomorrow.... I currently have the linerx rear cargo all weather mat, and it's going to look/feel awkward once this gap cover is in since the linerx mat stops well short of the 2nd row...
Just thin mat pieces.I'm hoping that the tuxmat trunk liner fits over the gap. I'll know tomorrow.
That wasn't the last time it was in stock though, as I said in my earlier comment I ordered mine when it restocked on June 10th and it was pointed out that it had been in stock several times since then.Completely agree with the frustration of it being out of stock basically indefinitely. It was last in stock around June 2-3. That's over 2 months ago and it seems to have been in stock for less than 24 hours. I completely disagree with anyone who says "just keep checking" and "it hasn't been that long" as that's kind of ridiculous. I'm glad @HC_79 now has the alert on lucidtracker, hopefully I can snag one when its next in stock, but that's just an annoying workaround to have. I really do wish I could just order it now and have it shipped when back in stock.
This seems like a nice accessory to be using on a daily basis, but also is nice that it can be removed as I imagine taking it out when I'm doing any sort of packed road trip to get the extra storage. I just wish there was a good way to have my all weather mat cover this, I currently have the linerx rear cargo all weather mat, and it's going to look/feel awkward once this gap cover is in since the linerx mat stops well short of the 2nd row...
