Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Still hoping to get my update this weekend (refreshing app at least once/hour!!!).
Next week, my car will be at detailers for 5 days getting PPF and Ceramic Coating.

Had to shake my main keyfob twice to get it to connect....then it got stuck for about 15min at 10%. Ended up having to abort the process. Then I remembered I had my 2nd keyfob in a nearby drawer. I moved that one to inside of the microwave (Faraday cage) and then it connected and successfully updated the fob. I then swapped out the fobs from the microwave and updated the 2nd one without issue.

Please note: it is NOT recommended to use the microwave while the keyfob is inside! LOL

Microwave oven blocks only microwaves with specific wavelength. Typical Microwave oven uses 2.45 GHz frequency and door mesh is made with holes small enough to block the waves with this frequency / wavelength. This will not work for shorter length UWB (freq 5-9 GHz). So it I don't think it blocked UWB, but maybe weakened the signal a bit. It might block Bluetooth and WiFi maybe? But if it worked for you maybe it's worth trying :D
I wonder if key fob battery level might affect the update process.

Updated last night. No issues at all today. Key fobs updated. It's freezing cold in Chicago. Car seems to heat up faster and no jet engine noise from the vents. Sound system has more depth and the new park feature works great. Also noticed the center light above the front seats was finally the color I selected.

So far so goo with this update. Touch controls also feel a bit snappier.
 
Still no update. Sigh. Lucid said the software folks might not be working tomorrow (Sunday).
 
When you were updating the software did the app seem to freeze at any percentages? I’ve been at 3% completed for about 25 minutes. OK so after 45 minutes it said 4% then 5% rather quickly and after 3 more minutes it’s at 12% and running free. Awesome.

My Gravity knew something was up. Today, it presented me with every glitch, error message and black screen that has ever been reported. I parked it in the garage, it then disconnected itself from my WiFi. I got things working and turned out the lights and locked the garage door. Now it is updating! Fob already updated. I’m looking for to testing it out tomorrow. Maybe now I can get the CFO (wife) off my back. She should understand, she is a software engineer for fighter planes.
 
Update received a few minutes ago, and installing now! So they are still pushing this out tonight.

When it says it was already updated, does it show a version number on that screen? That's what I recall seeing.

Just a further update. Your app may appear to update %complete slowly. At 1.5 Hours it said 50% complete and after a few minutes just completed.
 
My update completed in 50 minutes. Jumped from 47% and suddenly done.

Of note, once it completed the Gravity immediately showed as ‘offline’ on my app - I don’t think I’ve seen this reported here by others. I then did what Emad said - went to the car, the splash screen was on and it started up instantly. I checked the software version and then exited, locked the car, and left. The ‘offline’ on the app suddenly went away and all looks normal. Just in case others see this too.

Same thing happened here. Also, weirdly the remaining battery range looks to have slightly increased following the update. I have "gained" 8 miles or so since the update completed. Maybe recalibrated the efficiency or something? Anyone else experience that?
 
Still no 3.4.0 for me, although my car did start charging by itself at 7:30pm even though both the car and app say charging won't start until 12:01 am. Can't be a timezone thing, as it wasn't 12:01am anywhere in the world when it started. Luckily, my watch reports these notifications, so I was able to Stop Charging. Now we'll see if it actually tries again at the right time.

Not going to report it since it's "old" software.

8:51pm - car started charging again!

Took a 160 mile drive after update Friday night.

1) No random warnings - I had been getting the Sensors warning and the passenger airbag constantly

2) Cameras - as someone else said, yes, noticeably better/more clear and quick but no change for night. They do seem somewhat better in low light.

3) Vibe - the color of my vibe lights now stays the same every time. No default to zen/white when I get back in!

4) Sound - immersive with SSPro is even better. So great.

5) Air - hears quicker, no whistles, less loud in general

6) FOB - had to try a couple times, but fob update was fine and it’s definitely snappier when walking up to car, etc.

7) DDPro button - I had always thought the responsiveness or lack thereof with left dpad was software. Worked perfectly and much more responsive on this roadtrip post update. Awesome.

Loving the update and enjoying the car even more with no random warning and less noisy HVAC, among other things. Hopefully, keeps getting better. Awesome.

It wont show the key fob version until you start the upgrade procedure. If your key fob is up-to-date, it will show you the version and do nothing.
