Are there any ‘Hidden’ features for our cars that are not published in the owners manual? Fun stuff that you need to seek out to access.
 
I’m not sure if this qualifies as fun or a cheat code, but if you pause your audio, adjusting the volume resumes playback.
 
Hey siri will bring up carplay without hitting the play button if it hasn’t automatically loaded.

Is there a way to get carplay on the main pilot display?
 
Just found a fun trick! In the new app, go to your account tab, scroll down to the version number, and tap the version number 3 times. It looks like if you open a customer care ticket, they have now added the ability to send app logs to the team, attached to a customer care ticket number.

I’ve always wondered how people find things like this. Fess up borski, do you start tapping different areas of the screens a different # of times? I won’t tell. Promise. ;)

Yes. I do. All the time.

When I first started in security, my nickname became “point and click find vuln guy” lol. I didn’t know much, but I knew how to make things crash, apparently. :p

Then I learned how to figure out why those things crashed (through reverse engineering), and then I learned how to write exploits.

But it all started by clicking at and tapping at things nobody else did. :p
