Hello.
I am a new owner of a Lucid Air Touring. It was delivered with 19" wheels but I immediately bought a set of 21" wheels, mostly for the looks and grip.
So on 21s I can feel that the ride quality is quite strange, around 65 to 80 MPH I feel some intermittent vibrations going through the car, I can not pick the right term to describe it, but it seems like the car reacts to the smallest road imperfections sending vibrations and jitter through the car's body.
Initially I thought it might be something wrong with the wheels, so I took the car to the Lucid shop for them to look at it among other issues needed to be fixed with the car. I got a Air GT loaner instead for over a week with the exact same wheels setup as my Touring, and it was buttery smooth on any speed. Then Lucid shop came back to me recently claiming that they took care of the vibrations by replacing one wheel and balancing the whole set (also setting the pressure to 42 PSI from my original 45). So I was driving back home and nothing changed, same jittery ride with periodic vibrations over 60-65 MPH. So my question is is it a common knowledge that Air Tourings ride harsher on 21s than Air GTs on the same wheels? I want to understand if i need to drive to the shop again or it won't help.
