I have a Lucid Air Touring that I take over to the local high school to charge at a set of Chargepoint stations. In the past the car would regularly pull 10-12 kw and I could get a full charge in a few hours. Lately, each time I go there it only draws 2 kw. I look at other cars in session and they are all generally pulling more--5, 6, 8 kw. If I take the car to a Tesla Supercharger down the road it charges as expected. So I'm inclined to think maybe it's the chargers and not the car, but curious if anyone else has seen this, or if I'm missing some magic setting that might be limiting me? This did start after the last update, but it would be tough to attribute it to that at this point.

Check your current limit setting in the car.
This setting doesn't affect DC fast charging, only AC charging. The two charging paths are totally separate within the car's electronics.
You'll get a lot faster DC charging if you go to a non-Tesla location, like Ionna, Mercedes-Benz, Electrify America, EVGo, Sheetz, etc.

Thanks. I hadn't noticed this setting but it's currently set to 12amps (out of of a max of 80). What is the default here? I don't recall ever adjusting it.
The school could have changed their power policy too on the station. I don't have direct knowledge of this, but I think CP allows you to set it up so first-in gets priority. It's not always set to everyone gets an equal share.

This is why your are getting a low charge power. 12 Amps will limit you to ~2.8kW. Set the current limit to 80 Amps unless you have a reason to lower it. Then you car will get the maximum power that the charger will deliver.
Thanks. That makes sense. Not sure how it got set to 12 but I'm sure it was "user error"
