It is not double-standard or bias. It is just simple data and observation.
@zoomzoom's post above and its observation are spot on. We all wholly agree on this. "The Vistiq loses HANDILY in every single category other than price. Driving, comfort, luxury, passenger space, and OMG storage. They were so far apart that they aren't even comparable vehicles."
If you define the Gravity's class as luxury 3-row SUV, there are very few competitors: Escalade IQ, Vistiq, Gravity, EQS SUV, R1S, and EX90. And I think that the R1S and EX90 are a small stretch to consider them luxury. And yes, the Gravity will mostly trounce them all in efficiency, range, charging speed, acceleration, handling, space, storage, etc.
Yet the Gravity's sales are not class-leading. Not even close. In fact, they are stagnating. What do you think is holding Gravity sales back? (Monthly sale data from Good Car Bad Car.)

I never said that Gravity had out of date tech. Not sure where you got that. I said it looks like Lucid is operating from an out-of-date playbook where it has no competitors and luxury buyers will give them grace for the flaws. I did say that their tech is lacking compared to other luxury SUVs, such as PaaK, HUD, and some of the software glitches they still have not ironed out.
