I’m looking to buy a lease return Air Touring. Right now I have been focusing on 24 models. Spoke with the Coldwater service center where they noted 25 models would have the updated ccv along with updated pumps for the battery heating/cooling system. 25 models seem to have a $10-12k premium over 24 with similar features and mileage. The value proposition of the $1k ccv upgrade and perhaps up to an extra year of warranty don’t quite seem to be worth the extra money given the extended warranty on the battery (assuming there is an issue that would need to be addressed). Are there other reasons I should reconsider a focus on a 24 touring over a 25?
There seem to be a number of the 24’s available within a five or six hour drive of me for the low 40’s, and 25’s are not yet available in volume and seem to be in the mid 50’s for similar mileage of 10 to 15k miles.
