Even importing modules from China at 10% or 100% tariffs mean that almost any upcharge for robust ADAS hardware is more than feasible.

I'm hoping this means in the reasonable future most cars will have forward-facing lidar to prevent many common and avoidable accidents.
Similar to antilock brakes, airbags, stability control. For now, I'm happy to pay for it.
