So Lucid locks down the parts for Sapphire pretty tight... I am trying to buy some center-caps but I need a VIN number to do it.

Would anyone be willing to lend me theirs?? If at all possible... Someone that uses Scottsdale Service Center themselves?
 
It will be interesting to me know how many of our fellow forum members own Sapphires.
 
I think there are at least two, although one of those may have sold his.

Hmmm...now that I think about it, the fellow that sold his might be willing to share his old VIN with you. Just do a forum search for Sapphire and I think you'll find him pretty easily.

I drive the Sapphire in Sapphire mode all the time. Rolling on the throttle at say 60 mph is a whole different animal than the Dream. I believe the hp is more like 1500. 1200 hp at the rear wheels sounds right. After driving the Sapphire for a few days I can really tell the difference when I hit the same throttle in the Dream. It is stupid that I actually get disappointed when I do it as I expect the pull of the Sapphire. The Dream is what sold me on Lucid and sold me on getting a Sapphire when they came out. I don't plan on putting it on a Dyno as I'm not chasing numbers. I sold my TurboS...

Thread 'Wheel/Tire size options'

So, I'm very hesitant driving the Sapphire.
Why? Potholes, potholes, potholes.
I've got one already last year, rear 21" tire. Not a pleasant experience when it happens on the left lane highway.
I'd love to drive it more, to far exceed my puny 1,150 miles (as of now).
I dont' know much about wheels, tire sizes, tire circumference (back to front) and such. One thing I know, whatever I do it has to clear huge front calipers.
So, here comes the question to my fellow members.
What if I replace my 21'rear wheels/tires with a set of the front 20' wheel tires instead?
The looks are not the same, I...
