Lucid Air Turing 2025
Hey community -- first post after finally getting in Lucid (but long time reader of the forum)! 🎉

Hoped to pick your brains on peculiar situation: I signed a lease offer and received a car on Jan 31st 2025, and checking pricing on following day (Feb 1st 2025) I saw that price calculation changed and now offers a lower payments for same car (identical everything), with same conditions (I put all same info as I played with numbers day before).

I understand that deal is a deal, but since I have an offer and a car for less than 24h basically, do you think Lucid could honor new prices and adjust my lease numbers?

Tried to reach out to sales advisor and store manager (Millbrae CA), but both decided not to answer at all today (very disappointed with that -- could at least answer something 🫤).
Lucid general support and sales are also not responding on messages (should give a call if nothing happens -- but I'd expect to be redirected to my sales rep or something, who doesn't respond).

Share your thoughts, I'd appreciate any opinion!

Welcome and congrats on your Lucid!!!

No, they will not make an adjustment...and, at least from my perspective, nor should they. If the payments went in the other direction, would you ask them to allow you to pay them more? Lease payments are constantly in flux due to changes in interest rates, residual values, manufacturer incentives, supply & demand, you name it. Until your paperwork is finalized and the car is received, Lucid is pretty generous about allowing you to have them re-work your deal, but once the final lease paperwork is signed and the car is picked up? No way...it would create a circus that would only work against them.

Rather than dwelling on it, why not head out to a stunning stretch of road and enjoy your amazing new car!

Like you said, a deal is a deal. Would you be positing in here if the leasing prices for February increased? no, you'd be happy you secured a good leasing deal. Got to take the good with the bad sometimes.

New Lucid 2025 AT owner in RI. Picked up my car a couple days before end of Jan on lease as well. Noticed they had changed the rates in Feb, back to what they had been in December and agree with comments above they won't and really shouldn't give us the new rate.

During my lease process, about half-way thru Jan the air-credit increased from $5k to $7.5k, I had already applied for the lease and my sales consultant called me and said he would cancel my application, and I could reapply with the bigger air credit. They really didn't have to do that, and unless you read the fine print wouldn't have seen the change in air credit.

That is the kind of consideration that creates customers for life. There are always going to be issues, especially with new tech, but this type of customer first approach is refreshing.
