Gravity GT
Hi All,

Saw the thread about the gravity checklist on the day of delivery (big thank you for that!). I'm about to take delivery of my Gravity GT next week and wanted to check what is the latest "working" software for the gravity and the fob? Just want to make sure I have the "best" experience possible when I request my car rep to make sure these are downloaded before I pick it up.

Thanks so much!

I took delivery about a month ago on 3.3.5 when 3.3.9 had already been out for some time. It took a day or two after delivery for the update to be made available for download - I am assuming there is some sort of temporary update block put in place around delivery. The fob was delivered with the latest update (confirmed via app). I've never had a problem with the fob's proximity functions to get in or drive, other than the car unlocking too frequently when it detects the fob nearby. The buttons on the fob, on the other hand, can feel laggy at times.

Some bugs that you've probably read about on the forum, but no real showstoppers here on 3.3.9 in my experience. The car has reliably transported my family for the school run, numerous playdates, and holiday gatherings for almost a month now. Buckling kids in and loading family stuff allows ample time for the car to finish booting before pressing the brake pedal to turn the ignition on so maybe I've had a better experience than others. There was one instance of a Christmas tree of lights on the dash but that seemed to be an isolated occurrence due to me trying to drive away before the car fully booted using the keycard, and those errors went away after the car slept overnight.

Did you have to request for the fob to be delivered with the latest update or was that automatic? Not sure what to assume nowadays. Also, does the lucid app work to control car functionality at all or not until 2026? I tried logging into the lucid app with the same lucid login for my order and it keeps saying "Something went wrong but should be back to normal shortly". Anyone else had this issue?

I did not request anything particular for delivery.

As I understand it, you won't be able to login to the Lucid app until you've logged in to the vehicle. The app has worked fine for me - HVAC, air suspension height, charging, fob firmware, push notifications etc.

I had delivery 2 weeks ago with latest car software 3.3.9 and fob was up to date. Good news is that fob is now customer updatable via the Lucid app. There is a pending big software update, so 3.3.9 may not be latest by next week.

awesome, thanks for sharing! Helpful to know that you aren't able to login to the lucid app until after logged into vehicle!
