Finally got the correct wheel on my 25 AirGT installed last week. Now I have a new duck friend that QUACKS from the steering wheel if lane departure kicks in.

With all past loaners from Lucid and with my older steering wheel (that was replaced 3 times), I would 'feel' the lane departure in the wheel more than hearing it. Normal? i'm now guessing. Because what I have now is a VERY loud quack sound coming from the wheel. Sounds like when you have one of those powered muscle massagers turned on while vibrating alone on a metal table. Did they forget to connect something WITHIN the wheel assembly? I watched the install again of the wheel, and didn't see anything get missed.. and this is something you'll ONLY feel on the road (when the lane you're in splits into two and the car gets curious).

My question to our Lucid Owners family... do you hear the wheel vibrating more than feeling it? I feel SUPER bad going to the SC again for more of this petty little stuff.. but it's kinda LOUD to the point of it sounding bad to someone else that's in the car w/ me and doesn't know of all these little things. But if y'all have heard/felt the same thing.. did you do anything about it?

Going to kindly msg my SC contact to see what they say... but

Here’s video.. can anyone here claim they hear the same thing for the lane departure? Would love any feedback to help me understand if it’s something to live with, or fix. I just don’t know anymore with all the other issues. 🤪 thanks!

Obviously the car is telling you to duck…

I could not view the video, but my ‘25 AGT is 70% Quack and 30% feel…
that's all I needed! i too feel 70% quack.. possibly 80%. What's odd... i went into the Lucid corte madera and asked them.. 'what do you hear when lane departure kicks in?' All of them said they rarely hear it, and feel it more in the wheel... so now I strike that up to, those sales reps have been driving cars with 10k+ miles on 'em and hammering on their fleet to a point where it's all broken in.. and I need another 10k miles on my car before those sounds smooth out, and the other rattles show up. :)

My Air's also quacks. I prefer the Polestar 3's silent, tight jiggle.
My Tesla M3P had a great vibration the reminded me of driving over the rumble strips on the edge of a track…very cool. The way the steering wheel vibrates / quacks is one of the few things about the car that felt cheap. I’ve since turned it off. My wife loved it (she’s a bird watcher extraordinaire)!! When we first heard it together she said, “that’s so cool that they chose a duck sound!”
