Here's what ChatGPT says:

To link a key fob to your Lucid Air, follow these general steps. Keep in mind that the exact steps might vary slightly depending on software updates or specific model variations.

Steps to Link Key Fob to Lucid Air:

  1. Ensure the car is in the "Park" position:
    • The vehicle should be in Park and powered off (with the engine off and doors closed).
  2. Enter the car with the key fob:
    • Take the key fob and get into the car. Make sure you're within range of the car to ensure it can detect the fob.
  3. Access the Infotainment System:
    • Once inside, turn on the infotainment system (press the start button once without pressing the brake pedal).
  4. Go to the "Settings" Menu:
    • On the screen, look for Settings or Vehicle Settings (depending on your version).
  5. Navigate to Key Fob or Key Settings:
    • In the Settings menu, find the section related to key fob management or access and security. This will usually be under Doors & Locks or something similar.
  6. Add a New Key Fob:
    • You should see an option to add a new key fob. Follow the on-screen instructions, which will typically ask you to press a button on the fob to sync it with the car.
    • It may prompt you to press a button on the key fob to initiate pairing or to confirm your selection.
  7. Confirm Pairing:
    • After a few moments, the system should indicate that the key fob has been successfully paired.
  8. Test the Key Fob:
    • Once paired, test the key fob by locking/unlocking the doors or starting the car.

Tips:

  • If the key fob doesn’t pair, try again or check the vehicle manual for troubleshooting.
  • Ensure the key fob’s battery is not dead before attempting to pair it.
If you're still having trouble, you might need to consult your Lucid Air's manual or contact Lucid Motors support for specific guidance.
