Our handyman needs an alternator for his 2022 Ram hybrid vehicle. There is a 2-3 month wait and they quoted the repair at $11000. This supply problem is everywhere. Scary really.

I have no idea since I dont do trucks but he stated the entire system as you describe is being replaced including some circuit boards which are in short supply. Also mentioned the batteries were bad.
