Lucid just fixed the dreaded second-row squeak, which appeared to only take a few strips of poly felt tape. But while the vehicle was in service:
1. Lucid didn't mention it when they returned the vehicle, but when I reviewed the final work receipt it seems like there's a known issue with the size of a weld under the 60% side of the second-row seat. The weld in mine failed the measurement and needed to be bracketed to add extra support. Details attached.
2. The motor under the 40% side of the second-row seat was deemed to be too whiny and needs to be replaced. But there's a nationwide shortage of those motors so they returned the vehicle to me and said they'd get back to me when they have the motor.
Has anyone else heard about the weld issue? Are either of these related to the redesign of the second-row seat? Any word on when the redesigned second-row seat is going to be made available to current owners? Or is that redesign only going into new units, not retrofit into existing units?
