Is there a way to manually lower 2nd row seats?

This is the first time I've tried to lower both the left and right 2nd row seats. I tested the left one months ago to to see how it works, and it was fine. But now that I need to lower both, the right one won't lower with either the cargo area button or holding the seat button in for 2+ seconds. The front seat moves forward and I hear a motor trying to do something to release the 2nd row seat, but the seat wont flip forward and the back won't flop down.

I'll have to call service, but in the mean time is there a way to manually release it to get it down?

I finally got it. Had to push the seat back back a little and the seat popped free. Tried it again later and the button release it like it should. The leather must have just been stuck to something.

I find that pushing both L & R seat buttons at the same time makes for a more reliable release and louder thump when they go down and probably causes less wear as the backs don't rub against each other on the way down.
